| I enter the alleyway, quietly hoping I can find this witch quickly. The alleyways were full of trash and graffiti, twisting and turning in every angle, I was glad a looked at a map beforehand. As I search for the witch I began to wonder why there is a top tier witch even here. The thought baffled me, and made me raise my guard even more; I unsheathe my claws and began to sneak through the area. After thirty minutes in, I found what looked to be a camping spot, there was a tent and a burnt out fire place, that look to be recent, and cans of food. “Why would anyone light a fire here, it is too obvious and can be spot from afar” I mutter to myself. While looking in the tent I found several notes and books, all indication usage or practicing of magic. This was it, the witch was here and will be back. I began focus a little bit of my magic to my ears and began to listen for any movement nearby. I hear small patter of rodents but nothing that could be the sound of footsteps. If there was a witch here she would not be able to sneak up on me. I then found an area where I could not be spotted easily behind old drums and crates and took cover then pulling my hood over my head. I then slowly leak magic into my blades reinforcing the material, like a tear drop of water at a time, it slowly washed over my blades; I was here for the long game.

| The ally was cold and damp around her. This spot looked too new to be a permanent spot of residence for any witch. The air however was stale with the scent of corruption, something was not right here. The fire itself was recently burned.
The squeaking of rodents and the smell of garbage filled the air around young Sarah Wolfen.
The day passed by slowly and though she was stubborn, this waiting took a toll on her psyche.
Eventually shadows formed from the rooftop above her. Three shapes took form each one was different than the last.
"Well.. Well... We have a taker girls...."
"Ribbit... This one looks different from the others..."
"Well thats for me to decide,"
"Chi chi ci..." There was a slight pause as it seemed like they were arguing. Eventually one of them hissed at the others in frustration.
"What are you waiting for, go get her.... We can always use more test subjects."

| “What the Shimigami!!!” Caught by surprised, Sarah automatically casts her Soul armor, and readies her claws that have been infused with magic. But much to her surprise they were bickering among each other. She then used this chance to run out from cover into the dark alley, hoping one of them will follow suit, and try to minimize the fighting to one on one. As she was running, hoping that only one was following; she takes a left turn at the second junction and then a right at the fourth passage way. Once again she was glad that she looked at a map beforehand cause she may need to escape the alleyway as soon as possible. She notice there was lot of trash in this part of the alleyway, an idea came to mind, and hopefully she would get time to use it. As soon as she enters the passage full of trash and junk, she began to mutter “Woof, Woof, Bark, Bark”. Her hands began to burn brightly.

| Her hands glow with flames. Slowly her wolf features became more prominent. Her canines sharpened, her ears were on alert, her tail unraveled itself from around her waist. She was on edge... And she loved it. It gave her a feeling of ecstasy, something that she avoided because of how close it forces her into her more primal witch form.
She felt the other witches. Their signatures stayed close together. The stale air now filled with magic. Adrenaline filled every part of her body,
"Come out little wolfie... We can smell you..."
The steps got closer, and closer. Her heart was beating almost out of her chest. These three witches were B-tier and up. One of them felt like she was hiding most of her being elsewhere, the other felt like she was both excited and scared. But the last one... She felt like the leader... She felt... like someone she has ran into before... But she hadn't been near witches in months, how could she know who this one was....

| “Tsk, I am starting to hate this day even more” as Sarah growled through her teeth. Figuring that I don’t have much of a chance to escape, it was time to fight head on, three vs. one this was going to be a long stretch to try and overcome. Sarah then threw a couple fireballs into the air that were manifesting in her hands, signaling where she is and taunting the enemy to come at her. Sarah weapon blades gleamed as the fireballs exploded above in the air; she then braced herself and prepared for what may come and what may be her last stand. But if she was going to go down she was going to go down fighting. Sarah then eagerly waited for the enemy to come after her. She will have to be quick and strike hard; hopefully time will be on her side.
“Bring it witches, I’m ready!!!” screaming into the alleyways

| Sarah tossed her fireballs at the first sign of life. These flames were then put out by waterballs of the same magnitude.
The three witches gave off the evil grin under their hats and hoods.
"Ohhh.... We got a little fireball of fun here don't we? Well... Let's get a closer look at you?"
Sarah was then thrown at the three witches at high speed. She pulled a quick maneuver and with her old acrobatic training.
"Ribbit... She's a wiry one... Maaaa-... I mean Madam!"
Sarah landed behind the three witches.

| As I landed from being thrown, I begin to sense something, it was warm, and had a friendly feel to it, but it felt hurt. Almost instinctually I run full force to where it might be located, it was nearby, I only had to find it. As I was running, I was taking turn after turn, passage after passage, knowing with each turn I was getting closer. Hopefully whatever or whoever this was, it could give me an edge in the fight against the three witches. Hope was good, stubbornness can only get me so far. “This better help me win” Sarah said as she turned a corner.

| There next to one of the trash bins laid a girl. She looked no older than Sarah, but her body was scarred up and her clothing was trashed beyond reason. Her eyes, though they had a small light behind them, looked almost dead. She had been here awhile and she had been beaten up quite a lot.
Her head turns towards Sarah and the small jar in her pocket glowed softly. The soul was reacting to her.

| “Huh?”
As the light grew from my pocket, pulled the jar out, opened it and what seem to be compulsive, I give the soul to this strange girl. Realizing she was hurt, I began to cast a healing spell across her, trying to ease her pain and fix open wounds. “Sorry, this might hurt.” as i was healing her.

| The soul touched her skin and it started to be absorbed in. The air around them started to dry out and her skin was hot to the touch. Sarah had no idea what was going on. The smallest of the three witches caught up with them soon after the heat started to rise and just hid away as the temperature took an extreme skyrocket.
Sarah was barely able to stay in the healing process as the air around her started to burst into flames due to the heat. The insects in the air spontaneously combusted into small spots of fire as she continued healing the weaken girl on the ground.

| Pushing my healing power to the max, a green light began to grow ever so brightly over this injured person. “It is getting hot and fast!!!” a muttered as I endured the heat for as long as possible. My hands began to ache in pain due the influx of magic being direct into her for the extended time. And for a split second I sensed the other witches nearby, but could not do anything about it, this person took priority. Whoever or whatever this person was, I just hope she was worth the effort because time is not on my side.

| At that moment the witches were just yards away as the waves of heat rushed off this girl.
Though the healing magic flowed through the girl, it did not look like her wounds were healing. The scars on her body remained as the heat increased.
The witches stood and watched as this little girl-witch tried to heal the one on the brink of death. Thoughts and hypotheses formed within the leader. All of them pointed to sitting and watching.
As the heat reached it's climax, all of a sudden Sarah felt the air rushing towards the girl on the ground. Second rushed and then her eyes snapped open with a bright flash of green light.
Unbenounced to Sarah, somehow she and the girl were now in her apartment.

| “What…..what happen”
Dazed and confused, from the sudden teleportation. I slowly came to realize I was in my apartment. I start to stare at the strange girl, wondering who she was, and how did she manage to do that. As I remember I was in witch form, I try to return back to my human form, but there was no such luck, I exerted too much magic and would be a few hours before I could.
Damn, used too much magic”
I then laid her on the couch noticing she was on the ground while poking her face to see if she was still knocked out. I began to notice her clothes were in rags, I rushed into my room to grab a spare set of clothes for her, and try to change her.
“Hopefully these will fit” as I find a set of clothing that look like it might fit her.

| Her body twitches as Sarah poked her face. The skin was now ice cold, which was an extreme change from the surface of the sun heat it was giving off earlier.
Her dark black hair creased her sleeping form as it laid on the couch. There was a strange tattoo like marking of 3113-N on her right shoulder.
Sarah's ears twitched and her tailed curled as the remnants of the magic that was being used earlier still floated in the air. Her senses stayed super charged from both the adrenaline and increase in magic usage that had just happened.

| After laying her on the couch and changed her into decent clothing, I went to the kitchen to warm up a wet towel to place on her forehead.
“What do the numbers 3113-N mean?” as I was in the kitchen
As I was trying to derive the meaning of the numbers, and the possibilities of what it could mean, I accidently scolded my hands for the water getting too hot.
“HOT HOT HOT!!!!”
Managing for the second time, I got the temperate of the towel just right and filled up a small bowel from one of the cabinet with water. I then proceeded back to the living room and placed the towel on her forehead, hopefully warming her up, I then placed the bowel on the coffee table. Noticing I had wood still in the fireplace, I threw a small fireball into to light it on fire and try to heat this room up as well.
Waiting for something to happen was what I was good at, so I waited till she woke, occasionally reheating the towel as I waited.

| The hours passed as the girl on the couch laid still. The hairs on the back of your neck stood up as time went on.
As the third hour passed by, her body started to shake.

| As you were replacing the towel on her head, you felt sparks jumping off of them. The towels shocked you a little each time you changed them.
On closer inspection of the tattoo, it seemed to be burned into her skin.
Her temperature seemed to even out over time, but she still was not up.
As the fifth hour passed, her breathing seemed to even out.

| <Stomach growling> Noticing it was getting late, and the fact I have not eaten since I left for the alley, I decided to make some soup for the strange person and make something small for me. After heating up some soup and taking it back to the living room, I began to carefully spoon feed her the soup, making sure she was not going to choke on it.
After I finished feeding the strange girl, I began to eat a turkey sandwich that I made that was sitting on the coffee table “This is so good” as I finished eating my sandwich. I then periodically changed out her towels throughout the whole night. I was starting to get drowsy.

| Time marches on and the evening turns into night.
The lamps on the street lite up as the moon reached the highest point in the sky.
The girl's placide skin glows with a subtle glimmer as the moonlight hits her. The light only brought out the fact that her skin was now almost scarless. The cuts from earlier now missing due to the healing that was done.
Sarah sat on her couch, upon the unoccupied parts of course. The day had been a little bit more exciting than she would hope.

| Glad that she was looking better, I was finally able to relax late into the evening. even though I was, I could not figure out why there were three witches in death city of all placed, what do the numbers 3113-N, and why are they burn into the strange girl's skin, and what is this person. Many questions lay before me, and I had no idea where to start, I had a feeling that they would be answered soon enough. I then headed to my room and grabbed a blanket and pillow for the girl and lifted her head placing it on the pillow gently and laid the blanket on her. I then sat back into my chair thinking of all the possibilities of what may happen in the future. Time passed as I slowly began to get drowsy.......my eye lids started to become more heavy, and it almost felt like it could hear the moon laughing in the distant, Sleep finally overcame me, as i fell fast asleep in the chair i was seating in. | |
